Cave Diving Tulum

I took my Cavern & Intro and Full Cave certification with Julia at Cave Diving Tulum. She was an amazing mentor and coach throughout the course and took the time to teach me how to read cave maps and plan my dives safely. She gave me plenty of time to practice skills both on land and in the water before moving into the overhead environment. She even had amazing lunches every day! I cannot recommend Julia enough. She is patient and clear on her expectations and allowed me to set the pace, slowing down when I had questions and moving faster through the things I was already familiar with. There are a lot of options to take a course in Tulum but Julia is the absolute best! She even arranged a graduation cave photoshoot for me after my certification.

For the Xunaan-Ha cave exploration expedition we teamed up and explored a beautiful cave. Julia has so much more experience but every moment in the cave with her I felt truly part of a team. it was our first time in Mexico and we picked Julia from Cave Diving Tulum as our guide. Julia is an absolute champ and one of the best private cavern guides in Tulum! I haven't dived with anyone else since meeting her, and I've recently completed a sidemount course with her too. Having lived in the area for over a decade, she has tons of local knowledge and relationships, not to mention knowing where to find the best local foods and drinks! In terms of photography, she knows all the spots and the right time to dive them for ideal conditions. There is no better cave and cavern guide than Julia! Our first time diving together I wanted to shoot light rays penetrating the cenotes. She knew exactly what i wanted, proposed a plan, and made a fantastic day. She shares her knowledge and excitement and it is contagious! When 2 years later I needed the perfect cavern guide to take a small group diving I booked Julia immediately.
